Reading the Bible
The Bible can be intimidating. 66 books written thousands of years ago with names that are hard to pronounces and rules that seem impossible to follow... we agree. When engaged with devotion and vulnerability, the Bible can be a timeless guide to life, faith and Jesus. That is why we advise you to read with a plan. Keep at it. Ask questions. Pray for understanding. Use a translation that sounds like how you talk (NLT, ESV, NIV are great starts). And finally, read wherever, whenever you can, because we believe that inside this book is the key to eternal life and peace.
We suggest you try to read the Bible in one year.
Never done it? Give it a shot.

We say often, that worship songs are simply prayers set to music. There is power when people of faith unite and declare the truth of Jesus. Here are some samples of songs we will be singing together this month.
Simple Gospel by United Pursuit:
Oh Our Lord by All Sons and Daughters:
Burn Like a Star by Rend Collective:
Blessed Assurance by Elevation Worship:
SPEND 15 MINS IN PRAYER DAILY:
God is speaking all the time. The problem is that we have forgotten how to listen. We meet once a month for community prayer, with laying on of hands, and anointing with oil (last Sunday of ever month). We practice prayer and meditation in our daily lives. The key to prayer is an honest expression of who you are, and a patient listening for God's response.
HEAR GOD THROUGH SCRIPTURE:
We teach a simple method of Bible reading called using the acronym S.O.A.P. Soap stands for Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer. We did not invent it, we just like it for it's simplicity and clarity.
