  • Nicole Profetto

    Family Ministries

Nicole works as a Special Ed Pre-Kindergarten teacher and has been volunteering in children’s ministry for eight years. She graduated from Seton Hall University with certifications in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education. She strongly believes it is never to early to start instilling morals, values, character traits, and a foundation of faith in Jesus Christ in children. She is thankful that no matter how young we are, where we are, who we are, or what we've done, God is consistent and His love is greater than we can begin to fathom. She's honored to have the opportunity to do what she's passionate about and work with kids.

Nicole enjoys coloring, is creative, and loves arts and crafts. Don't be surprised if she has glitter somewhere on her face when you see her. Give her a camera and a hike with a good view and she's in her happy place. She also makes the best chocolate chip cookies you've ever had.    facebook

  • Dianne Logsdon

Since 1990, Diane has served in the children’s ministry and currently teaches toddlers and young children at the church in addition to her role as the church secretary for the last decade. A true local, Diane has been a part of First Assembly since its doors opened in Pennington in the 70s.

In 1980, Diane married Carl, a lifetime attendee and member of First Assembly. Together, with the love and help of many dedicated Christian educators, Diane and Carl raised their three children – Carl, Sarah, and Shelby – to adulthood. Dianne believes in the importance of raising children in respect of the Lord and holds Proverbs 22:6 close to her heart. Dianne enjoys the relationships of the church community.

She would love to get to know everyone better through conversations and her involvement in a growth group when she is not enjoying beach life, butterflies or bird-watching.    facebook

  • Effie Lovero

    Office Manager

A lifelong member of PenningtonAG, Effie Lovero has lived in Pennington and attended PenningtonAG for almost 4 decades! She enjoys working with numbers, balancing budgets, and reconciling accounts as the Church Accounting Manager for 17 years.  On Sunday mornings you can find her volunteering in the Children’s Ministry or in the church kitchen preparing lunches and dinners.

This past year she went back to teaching on a Wednesday night with the Awana curriculum and was truly blessed to work alongside the children of our community.

Effie loves spending time with her family, caring for her farm animals, and a good cup of coffee—the stronger, the better.  She has raised three grown children who are all following Jesus in their own home churches.  Her son, Frank, is the Student Ministries Pastor, and she considers it a blessing to serve alongside him.  On the farm, she particularly enjoys caring for Dominick, a stubborn donkey with a soft heart who now has his own Instagram with  followers.
